Around the holiday time of 2015, I discovered the Filofax Ochre Malden through the planner community on Instagram. I knew about the popular Kikki K planners as well but I liked the flexibility of the Filofax. I was able to see this through YouTube reviews and really wanted one for myself. Since it is pricey, I decided to wait on it. I eventually decided to purchase it the summer of 2016 and have been in love with it since.
Oh, how April came and left... This month, (well, last month...it's already May...) my favorites are simple. Simple makeup/beauty items and simple tools that spark creativity. Although they are simple, they certainly stood out to me in the month of April for a reason.
I celebrated my birthday on the 14th of April and my family surprised me with these gifts that I just needed to share with you guy's! Maybe they can give you ideas to add to your birthday wishlist :)
I've been meaning to post this haul for about a month now but I have been very busy with school work, so before spring break ends, I want to quickly share these cute notebooks and journals (plus a clipboard) I found at Staples and Target. I did purchase these a while back, so I'm not really sure if they are still available. I will say that the last time I went to Target though, I did see the Cambridge notebooks for sale.
Since spring is slowly approaching and I was starting to get bored of the
muskier scents of winter, I wanted to transition into a softer, fresher scent. One of my favorite scents for a while now has been Lovestruck, by Vera Wang, and it's the one I reached more for the month of January. I think it is a great fragrance to bring in the new year because it is not a complete change from the heavy musky scents but instead of being full of spices, it's much more floral and romantic. Another fragrance I reached towards and also recently
discovered (thanks to my sister) was Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs. This scent is definitely much sweeter than Lovestruck but still has that floral scent to it that I love. To me, both of
these fragrances yell SPRING and that's great for me because I have
to say that it is my favorite season.
